High School: Top player for small-school Michigan powerhouse Grosse Ile...earned first-team All-State honors as a junior, reaching the semifinal round in Division 4 at No. 1 singles and helping the Red Devils to a third-place finish as a team...earned 1st team All-Huron League as a senior all three years of high school, and an honorable mention all-state recognition as a sophomore in 2018...also a standout basketball player at Grosse Ile, becoming the Red Devils' all-time leading scorer, tying the school record for most points, and being named first-team All-Huron League and to the All-Downriver Dream Team as a senior...graduated as valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA, and was a member of the National Honor Society and the student council at Grosse Ile...is the third Formentin sister to play at Hillsdale, following in the footsteps of older sisters Julia ('19) and Elli (currently a junior)...born May 29, 2002...parents are John and Kim Formentin.
