Bio

High School: Decorated standout in three sports who helped lead Lenawee Christian (MI) to back-to-back MHSAA girls basketball state titles, with Covid-19 preventing a possible 3-peat in 2019-20...shined during a four-year run as a starter with the Cougars, earning consensus All-State honors for three consecutive seasons, making the All-Adrian Daily Telegram all four years of high school and setting career records at Lenawee Christian for most points, most assists and most steals...earned three entries in the MHSAA record book, making the list for most 3-pointers in a game, most assists in a game, and most career 3-pointers...was also named to the All-Daily Telegram team in both volleyball and soccer, helping the Cougar volleyball team to a Division 4 quarterfinal appearance in 2018...played AAU basketball with the Michigan Mystics...made the honor roll every semester of high school, was a member of the National Honor Society, a Class Officer, a member of the Student Government and a Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship Recipient...donated several pieces of art to Lenawee Christian and worked on the school Red Cross Blood Drive, among other volunteer work...parents are James Salenbien Jr. and Deborah Salenbien.
