Bio

2016: Led the GLIAC in average passing yards per game (292), which was also the second-best figure in school history…Named honorable mention all-GLIAC…In eight starts, passed for 2,546 yards and 19 touchdowns compared to just two interceptions…Had the best touchdown-to-interception ratio for a starting quarterback in school history…Had four 300-yard passing games, with a career-high of 355 in a homecoming win over Michigan Tech Sept. 24…His 208 completions were sixth-most in a season in school history…Completed a career-high 31 passes in a loss at Wayne State Oct. 1Rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on the season …Named the team’s Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 5 and Sept. 26…Named the team’s Outstanding Offensive Back…Named the team’s E.P.E.P. Award winner on Oct. 31.

2015: Earned the starting quarterback job in October and performed at a high level from day one…Passed for 1,235 yards and 10 touchdowns in six starts, during which the Chargers went 4-2…His first touchdown pass was a 90-yard bomb to Alex Fogt against Ohio Dominican Oct. 10…Threw for a season-high 294 yards in that game…Had more than 200 yards passing in four of his six starts…Had two touchdown passes in five of the six games he started…Showed impressive field awareness and poise as a redshirt-freshman…Named the team’s offensive player of the week Nov. 9.
