High School: Talented thrower at Rock Hill High in Ironton, OH...won two conference championships and a district championship in discus for the Redmen, and also captured a conference title in the shot put...made the podium in both shot put (48' 2") and discus (143' 1") as a junior at the OHSAA Division 2 Region 7 meet...comes to Hillsdale with personal best throws of 156' 4" in the discus and 50' 6" in the shot put...graduated as class valedictorian, was a National Honor Society officer and won the WSAZ Best of the Class award...volunteered with local youth football leagues...born Sept. 19, 2001...parents are James and Angela McGinnis.
