Bio

2012: Guided the Chargers to their second straight division championship...Named honorable mention All-GLIAC for the second year in a row...Completed 64 percent of his passes and threw for 2,108 yards, the eighth-most in a season in school history...Had a plus-10 touchdown-to-interception ratio (18-8)...Second on the team with 305 rushing yards and scored six touchdowns...Threw for a season-high 266 yards in the season opener against nationally ranked California (Pa.) on Aug. 30...Had six 200-yard passing games, all coming in the first seven weeks of the season...Finished his career ranked seventh in school history with 4,628 passing yards and had 36 TD passes in his career.

2011: Had a spectacular season as a first-year starter at quarterback in 2011…Named honorable mention All-GLIAC…Completed 66.2 percent of his passes, third-best rate in a single season in school history…Ranked fourth in the GLIAC in pass efficiency, third in passing yards and fourth in average yards of total offense per game…Passed for more than 300 yards twice, coming in overtime games against Ashland and Wayne State…Had a 15-to-6 touchdown-to-interception ratio…Was also a threat running the ball, and amassed a career-high 98 yards on the ground in a win at Michigan Tech Oct. 15…Ran for three scores on the season and had 399 rushing yards total…Had five games of 50 or more rushing yards…Had two three-touchdown passing games on the season…Completed more than 64 percent of his passes in nine of his 11 starts…His 2,511 passing yards were the sixth-most in a single season in school history, and his 206 completions were fifth-most in a season in school history.

2010: A starting wide receiver for the team in 2010, but is set to make the move back to quarterback in 2011…Will compete for the starting signal-caller position…Originally recruited to Hillsdale as a QB, but made the transition to wide receiver last year with some very good results…Caught 10 passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns, one of those scores coming in the game at Grand Valley State Sept. 11…Also scored a touchdown in the 31-3 homecoming win over Findlay Nov. 6…Member of the GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2009: Saw action in five games…Caught one pass for 14 yards in win over Tiffin Nov. 7 and completed his first collegiate pass in that same game…Could see time at wide receiver in 2010…Named the scout team’s offensive player of the week Sept. 21…President of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
