2023 Chargers volleyball season and single-game tickets now on sale

The Hillsdale College volleyball program is poised to compete for a sixth G-MAC regular season title in seven years and a sixth-straight NCAA DII Tournament berth with a strong team returning for the 2023 season.

You can catch all the action in Dawn Tibbetts Potter Arena this season by purchasing tickets to catch the Chargers playing live this fall. Hillsdale has a 10-match home slate on tap for this season, beginning on Friday, Sept. 15 with a Friday night G-MAC contest against Ursuline at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for each individual match on University Tickets, and season ticket packages that include admission to all home matches can be purchased here

The Chargers also host two matches over Homecoming weekend, a Friday, Sept. 22 match with a special 4:30 p.m. start time against G-MAC rival Cedarville and a noon match on Saturday, Sept. 23 against new G-MAC member Thomas More (KY) that's part of a Homecoming Saturday doubleheader along with the Chargers football game against Findlay starting at 4 p.m.

Hillsdale also has a rare stretch of three home games in three days from Oct. 20-22, all three critical conference contests. The Chargers open on Friday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. with a match against defending G-MAC regular season champion Ashland at 7 p.m., then welcome Ohio Dominican to Dawn Tibbetts Potter Arena on Saturday, Oct. 21 for the team's annual Alumni Day celebration. The action-packed weekend concludes on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. with a match against arch-rival and G-MAC North Division title contender Findlay.

The Chargers are also hosting their annual Toys For Tots Drive on Nov. 3 against Malone, and wrap up the regular season with a Saturday, Nov. 4 match against Walsh at 1 p.m. Hillsdale will hold its annual Senior Day celebrations during the match against Walsh.

The Chargers lose one All-American, graduated senior outside hitter Karoline Shelton, from last year's 28-7 team that won the G-MAC Tournament title for the sixth straight season and upset Lewis to reach the NCAA DII Midwest Regional Semifinal round, but return another in rising junior libero Alli Wiese, as well as several other key contributors from last year's squad, including All-G-MAC honorees Marilyn PopplewellMaizie BrownMegan Kolp and Lauren Passaglia. That strong returning core, on top of an impressive freshman class, has Hillsdale thinking another G-MAC title and NCAA Tourney run could be in reach if they can play to their potential consistently in 2023.
