2020-2021: Junior year at the GMAC/MEC Championships, the Chargers won their second conference title. Breay finished fifth in the 200 breaststroke, earning herself a spot on the podium, twelfth in the 100 breaststroke, sixteenth in the 200 freestyle, and eighteenth in the 500 freestyle, dropping over fourteen seconds from her seed time. 

2019-2020: Sophomore year at the Phoenix Fall Classic, Breay placed in the top 16 in every event. She dropped over twelve seconds in the 200 breaststroke for a season best time and eighth place, sixteenth in the 1650, twelfth in the 200 medley relay, thirteenth in the 100 breaststroke, and fourteenth in the 400 freestyle relay. At the GMAC/MEC conference championships, the Chargers won their first conference title. Breay finished top 10 in every event. She was part of the first place 800 freestyle relay, tenth in the 1000, ninth in the 200 freestyle and swam a lifetime best time, tenth in the 100 breaststroke, and ninth in the 200 breaststroke. 

2018-2019: Freshman year at the Great Midwest Conference Championships, Maddie placed in the top 10 in all of her events. She swam a lifetime best time in the 1000 (7th), swam the 100 breaststroke (7th), 200 breaststroke (8th), and the 1650 (10th). At the Phoenix Fall Classic held at the University of Chicago, Maddie swam season best times in all of her events and placed in the top 8 in the 1650 (8th), 100 breaststroke (7th), 200 breaststroke (6th).
