High School: Ran cross country and track and field at Resurrection Christian in Fort Collins, Colorado...finished 15th at the CHSAA 3A State XC Championships as a junior in 2019 (17:17.9) to earn all-state honors, and was sixth in his regional in 2020 with no state meet due to Covid-19...also finished runner-up in the 800 meter dash (1:55.75) in Class 3A at the Colorado State Track and Field Championships in 2021, and third in the 1,600m run (4:27.06)...his personal best time in a cross country race in high school was 16:12.8, set at the Nike Desert Twilight XC Festival on Sept. 27, 2019.
