High School: One of the top amateur golfers in the state of Michigan in his age group...qualified for the 2023 Boys Junior PGA Championship and made the cut at one of the top national junior events in the sport of golf...at the age of 15, won the Michigan Junior Amateur and Junior Invitational titles in 2019, earning 15 and Under Player of the Year honors from the Golf Association of Michigan...previously qualified for match play at the 2022 Michigan Amateur Championship and also qualified for the 2021 US Junior Amateur...three-time Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association first-team all-state honoree, as well as a repeat academic all-state honoree...career low round of 65 and handicap of -1...member of the Walled Lake Northern National Honor Society...parents are Marc and Carrie O'Rourke.
