Bio

2020-21: Talented freshman worked his way into the lineup at midseason and played a critical role at the G-MAC Championship and NCAA Regional competitions...consistent player finished with a 74.13 stroke average in seven events, the best on the team among 2022 returners...shot a season-low round of 70 as part of a 219 score to tie for 22nd at the Las Vegas Desert Classic (March 7-8)...tied for 14th at the G-MAC Championships (April 19-20) with a 75-73-72-220 to help Hillsdale earn runner-up honors...finished tied for 81st (241) in his first NCAA Central/Midwest Regional appearance (May 6-8). 

High School: Top player at Hackett Catholic Prep in Kalamazoo, Michigan who helped lead the Fighting Irish to a 2019 MHSAA Division 4 state title as a junior...in three state final appearances, earned All-State honors in 2017 and 2019, finishing fifth individually both times...on the summer amateur circuit, won both the Golfweek Jr. event at Forest Akers West Golf Course and the Callaway Tour event at Stonebridge Golf Course in 2019, and placed second at the 2018 AJGA Randy Wise Qualifier...comes to Hillsdale with a low round of 67 and a 0.7 handicap...Graduated with honors from the Kalamazoo Area Math and Science Center, earning a Blue Ribbon award at the 2018 KAMSC Project Day and also earning membership in the National Honor Society...active volunteer with the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission and Tim Tebow's 2018 Night to Shine...born June 1, 2001...parents are Steven and Kathleen Verduzco.
