SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - The Lake Superior State University women's basketball program (0-5) fell on the road to the Hillsdale Chargers (2-3) by a final score of 77-53 on Tuesday.

Golden and Amanda Roach (Hartland, Mich.) let it fly from beyond the arc in the second quarter, but the Chargers were able to take a ten point lead into the halftime break.

The Lakers would keep fighting in the second half with multiple baskets from Golden, and Maddie Bradford (Maple City, Mich.) came to life with several buckets in the fourth quarter. However, Hillsdale would ultimately hold on to secure the win.
