GAME STORY

  • Northwood started the game fast, scoring the first eight points of the contest in 1:37.
  • The Chargers responded with an 11-2 run to take an 11-10 lead.
  • NU eventually led 12-11 after one quarter.
  • Northwood started the second quarter strong, going up 20-13 with 8:30 remaining
  • The Chargers were the better team the rest of the half, out-scoring the Timberwolves 23-8 the rest of the way to take their biggest lead of the day at 36-28 at the break.
  • After scoring just eight points the final 8:30 of the second, the Northwood offense got rolling in the third. NU took the lead back at 41-40 and took the lead for good at 46-43.
  • NU eventually scored 31 points in the quarter while going 6-7 from 3-point range. That allowed the Timberwolves to take a 59-49 lead to the fourth.
  • Northwood pushed their lead to as many as 17.
  • Hillsdale made a push late but did not get any closer than 10 the rest of the way.
