Are you ready to Charge into Reading?!
Join us for the 2023-2024 school year with our Charge into Reading Challenge!
The Hillsdale College Athletics Department is sponsoring a Reading Challenge for all students in third through sixth grade. Each participating student can download a form, fill in their pages read, have their parent or guardian sign off on their accomplishment and present their completed Challenge sheet at the designated Chargers sporting event listed below. Students can participate as many times as they would like!

- Program: Charge into Reading Challenge
- Who: All students in grades 3rd-6th, any location
- When: Designated Charger Sporting Events
- Volleyball: Saturday, Nov. 4 2023 vs Walsh at 1:00pm
- Football: Saturday, 11/11/23 vs Ohio Dominican at 1:00pm
- Men’s and Women’s Basketball: Saturday, 1/20/24 vs Kentucky Wesleyan at 1:00pm and 3:00pm
- Softball: Saturday, 4/20/24 (subject to change with weather)
- Baseball: Saturday, 4/27/24 (subject to change with weather)
- What to do:
- Download a form for each sport you’d like to complete a challenge for. Read 400 pages and mark off your accomplishment on your form. Fill out your completed form and have your parent or guardian sign off on your work.

Baseball - At each Charger sporting event, check in at our Charge into Reading Challenge table, located at Charlie’s Trading Post, our new retail outlet located in the front lobby of the Sports Complex.
- At check in, you will receive your complimentary admission to the Charger sporting event, Charger swag and get the chance to meet some Charger athletes!
