Outdoor Athletic Facility Improvement Plan - Phase I

Hillsdale College has a long, storied history of athletic success and leadership. From its earliest days as a founding member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, to its current position of dominance in the NCAA Division II Great Midwest Athletic Conference, our Charger teams are leaders on the field and the court and have the hardware to prove it.

Our student-athletes gain something even greater than athletic success, however, from participating on a Hillsdale College team. As Chargers, Hillsdale student-athletes work together in harmony to accomplish a common goal. They develop their minds, bodies, and souls; they develop character from the rigor and intensity of training and competing at the highest levels of excellence, from learning the importance of good sportsmanship, and from giving back to the community through volunteerism. In so doing, our student-athletes discover their purpose and live up to their full potential. They leave Hillsdale not only as leaders in their sports, but as leaders ready to live a life of virtue in their homes, workplaces, and communities.

In order to recruit the finest student-athletes and to cement Hillsdale’s place as a leader in its athletic conference and beyond, the College is planning an extensive renovation, relocation, and expansion project for its athletic facilities, some of which are in desperate need of repair.
Phase One of our plan includes new facilities for three of our spring sports teams:
