Chargers finish fourth at Midwest Regional

The Hillsdale College Chargers finished fourth at the NCAA Midwest Regional meet today in Evansville, Indiana. Fourth wasn't a high enough team-finish to automatically qualify for the NCAA Division II National Meet, so they will have to wait to see if they earn a bid to qualify.

Senior Arena Lewis led the team with a 14th-place finish in 21:26.9

Junior Christina Sawyer stepped up today to take 28th with a new personal best time of 21:48.2. And sophomore Claire McNally was close behind in 32nd, as she nearly tied her personal best time, crossing the finish line in 21:55.0.

Freshmen Gwynne Riley and Meg Scheske finished next for the Chargers came in 39th, finishing in 22:06.6

Sophomore Sophia Maeda finished 52nd overall in 22:25.7, and junior Maryssa Depies rounded out the pack in 22:29.5 to take 55th.
