High School: Versatile front-row player and impressive athlete from Eaton Rapids High School in central Michigan...played three sports for the Greyhounds, earning both All-Conference and Lansing State Journal All-Area honors in volleyball, basketball and track...as a senior, was named the Eaton Rapids Female Athlete of the Year and received honorable mention all-state honors in both volleyball and basketball, leading the Greyhounds to the MHSAA Division 2 district finals in basketball, while becoming the all-time leader at Eaton Rapids in both career and single season kills...was named to the 2021-22 AVCA Phenom All-America Watch List...excellent student, was the co-salutatorian of the 2022 Eaton Rapids Class of 2022, a Senior Scholar, a National Honor Society member and an AAU Academic All-American...played club volleyball for the Lansing Attack National Team, and is also a member of both PALS and the Interact Club, as well as Student Council Vice President...older sister, Arianna, is a starter on the Charger women's basketball team...parents are David and Dr. Shelly Sysum.
