A  Vermont State pole-vault record-holder and 2015 state decathlon champion from Hartland, Vermont who was a state champion in at least one event all four years of high school…In 2015, she took third at the New England Pole Vault Championships, and was the state champion in 100-meter hurdles and pole vault. She was second in the state in the 300-meter hurdles and third in the triple jump…In 2014, she was the indoor state champion in pole vault, 55-meter hurdles and triple jump…She was also a member of the cross country ski team and helped her team to state championship titles in 2013, 14, and 15…Her personal best vault came in 2015 with a 11’3” vault…Academically, she was the winner of the Calvin Coolidge Essay Scholarship for Youth Memory Master Award and was the runner-up in the Regional Bible Bee Competition…In the community, she volunteered statewide for Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports for the Disabled and in the Upper Valley community after Tropical Storm Irene…Born June 29, 1997…Parents are John and Donna-Lee Bassette.
