The Hillsdale College women's tennis team won its third-straight match on Saturday, finishing a long drive to Owensboro, Kentucky with a 7-0 victory over host Kentucky Wesleyan.

The Chargers dominated the match, winning all six contested matches on the court while losing just two games total in the competition.

Hillsdale's top doubles pairing of senior Sarah Hackman and junior Melanie Zampardo rolled to a victory at No. 1 doubles, 6-0, and both players also won their singles matches in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0 -- Hackman at No. 1 singles over the Panthers' Jade Jenkins, and Zampardo over KWC's Sophia Price at No. 2 singles.

Senior Ellie Chawner also picked up a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Baylie McCreary at No. 3 singles for the Chargers, and freshman Isabella Spinazze, playing for the first time for Hillsdale at No. 4 singles, also won 6-1, 6-1 over Sydney Tucker.

Hillsdale's No. 2 doubles pairing of senior Canela Luna and freshman Megan Hackman also won without dropping a game, 6-0.

The Chargers are now 6-7 overall, 3-1 in the G-MAC heading into a critical home weekend as Hillsdale looks to keep hold of a top four seed in the upcoming G-MAC Tournament. Hillsdale hosts two teams close behind in the standings -- Cedarville on Friday, and Ashland on Saturday -- in critical contests before Easter.
