Before Hillsdale: Important contributor for two years at Lees-McRae in North Carolina, taking third in both the 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle at last year's Conference Carolinas Swimming Championships...also swam on record-setting 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay teams for the Bobcats in that event...prior to Lees-McRae, was a strong competitor in her home country of Kenya, representing Kenya in national and international meets while also excelling for Otters Swimming Club...On both the Dean's List and President's List at Lees-McRae as a student...comes to Hillsdale with two seasons of eligibility remaining beginning in 2023-24...parents are Heinz Ruchti and Eunice Magomere.
