2020-2021: GMAC athlete of the year. At the GMAC/MEC Championships, Tunney placed in the top three in every event. Second in the 200 backstroke, second in the 100 backstroke, second in the 500 freestyle, second in the 800 freestyle relay, second in the 400 medley relay, second in the 400 freestyle relay, third in the 1000. 

2019-2020: GMAC Freshman of the year and conference champion in three events. At the Phoenix Fall Classic, Tunney placed in the top eight in all of her events. Third in the 500, fourth in the 1650 with a lifetime best time, third in the 200 backstroke, fourth in the 800 freestyle A-relay, sixth in the 400 freestyle A-relay, and seventh in the 400 medley A-relay. At the GMAC/MEC Championships, the Chargers won their first conference title. Tunney placed in the top five in every event. Conference champion in the 500 freestyle, conference champion in the 200 freestyle with a lifetime best time, conference champion in the 800 freestyle relay, second place in the 1000 with a lifetime best time, second in the 400 medley relay, second in the 200 backstroke, and second in the 400 freestyle relay.
