The Charger women's swimming team enjoyed one of its best seasons in the pool in 2018-19, but also got good work done in the classroom.
Hillsdale earned the College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Team award. This marked the 12th consecutive year - all 12 seasons of head coach Kurt Kirner's tenure - that the team has received this recognition.
Hillsdale easily cleared the CSCAA bar of a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher in earning this award. The Chargers were part of a nice upward trend among Division II programs last year. The CSCAA announced that all of the honored teams had an overall grade point average of 3.45, the highest in its recorded history.
