Friday evening the Hillsdale College women's swimming team won against Indiana Wesleyan University 133-71. The Chargers took first in seven out of 11 total events in the meet, held in the Jack McAvoy Natatorium.

The 400 freestyle relays finished 1-2-3-4 with the A-relay of Rao, Vita, LeBleu. And DeTar taking first (3:50.31). The 200 medley A-relay of Heeres, Ellingson, Voisin, and Rao also took first (1:51.93).

The Chargers had another 1-2-3 sweep in the 200 freestyle with sophomore Katherine Heeres taking first (2:00.79), sophomore Mary Vita second (2:02.30), and freshman Maddie Breay third (2:05.18).

Freshman Anna Clark took first in the 1000 (11:32.62) and freshman Stefanie Walker took second (11:39.13).

The 100 breaststroke also had a 1-2 finish with Senior Anika Ellingson first (1:05.40), and Breay second (1:11.58).

Junior Catherine Voisin won the 100 butterfly (59.37), and junior Bailey Bickerstaff took third (1:02.35). Sophomore Katherine Heeres won the 500 freestyle (5:29.71), and junior Lizzie Leathers finished third (5:48.31).

In the 50 freestyle, senior Suzanne DeTar finished in a close second (25.60), and sophomore Emma Rao was third (26.08).

In the 200 IM, Ellingson placed second (2:16.31), and junior Danielle LeBleu was third (2:17.46). LeBleu also took second in the 100 freestyle (56.80) and junior Taylor Steyer was third (58.00).

Junior Allie Matti finished second in the 100 backstroke (1:03.55), and Vita took third (1:04.69).
