Swimming Program Once Again Named Scholar All-American

Fall 2017 CSCAA Scholar All-American Release

Hillsdale College women's swimming coach Kurt Kirner has been in his position for more than a decade. And in each of those seasons, his teams have been recognized on a national level for its high level of achievement in the classroom. The Fall of 2017 was no different.

Hillsdale was named a Scholar All-American team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.

In the fall semester, the Chargers attained an overall grade point average of 3.20, qualifying it for Scholar All-American status. In Kirner's tenure, Hillsdale has become a fixture on this list.

For a team to be considered, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
