G-MAC Women's Basketball Statistics

OVERVIEW

  • The Chargers are coming off one of their best weekends of the season, snapping a four-game losing streak by notching wins over Tiffin (90-72) and Cedarville (72-66)
  • One common element in those two wins was Hillsdale's ability to get to the free throw line...The team's free throws made totals of 24 and 19 represent their second and third-most made free throws in a game this season
  • Senior guard Allie Dewire was named the G-MAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday...Last week she averaged 28.5 points per game while shooting 73 percent from the field
  • Dewire is the second member of this year's team to win that G-MAC weekly honor, joining Brittany Gray, who won it on Dec. 24
  • In the first meeting of the season between these teams, the Chargers led 60-56 in the fourth quarter, but Findlay finished the game on a 13-4 run to pull out a victory
  • Findlay is led by a dynamic post player, Anna Hintz, one of the clear favorites for G-MAC Player of the Year...Hintz is averaging 18.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game, both tops in the conference
  • The Oilers have the G-MAC's second-toughest defense in terms of points allowed per game (61.2)
  • Findlay has won 9 of the past 13 meetings between these teams, a streak that began on Feb. 27, 2014
  • This game is a rematch of the 2018 G-MAC Tournament championship game, won by the Chargers 81-70 in Cedarville on March 3, 2018

SERIES HISTORY
