The Hillsdale College Shotgun Sports team took part in the 2019 Lancer Invitational held by Grace College on October 26th. They shot 100 sporting clays at the Kosko Shotgun Complex in Warsaw, Indiana.
Led by junior Barrett Moore (89), sophomore Anthony LaMacchia (88), and freshman Brad Lehman (88), the Chargers came away victorious, breaking 426/500 and besting Grace by over 40 targets. The event saw 35 competitors and Hillsdale broke the top three scores.
“Although it wasn’t a huge event like the last two weekends, it was still great to have the team get out there and shoot a well in a competition,” said head coach Jordan Hintz.
The team will next compete in a registered NSCA sporting clays shoot at Brighton, Michigan and then will travel to Nashville for the ACUI Eastern Super Shoot on November 15-17.
