The Hillsdale College softball program is pleased to announce its annual Pitcher's Camp and Showcase is set to return this summer, with two sessions available to attend on August 1 and 2.
The Pitcher's Camp and Showcase Camp offers aspiring softball stars the chance to receive instruction from the staff and players of a championship-level softball program that's reached the NCAA Division II tournament in four of the last six seasons, won three G-MAC Tournament titles including the one this past spring, and captured the G-MAC regular season title in 2022. This camp is open to all entrants, limited only by numbers, age, grade, gender or positions.
The pitcher's camp is set to begin at 9 a.m. on both days and is intended for pitchers entering 9th grade or older. The pitcher's camp will include pitching instruction provided by Hillsdale College Softball coaching staff and players, as well as access to the showcase camp session and showcase games later in the day. The pitcher's camp is limited to 9 participants in order to ensure every pitcher receives detailed instruction, so register early to make sure you get a spot. Pitchers are expected to bring their own catcher for the morning pitching session only.
Following the pitcher's camp at 9 a.m., the Chargers' full showcase camp begins at 10:15 a.m. and is also intended for high school players and those entering the 9th grade in the fall. The camp will include offensive and defensive instruction from Hillsdale College Softball's coaching staff and players, and players will be broken into squads to participate in live showcase games in the afternoon. Spots are also limited in this camp so we can ensure all participants get the opportunity to play in the live games, so make sure to register early to secure your spot -- we have spots for middle infield, corner infield, catchers and outfielders.
Cost for the showcase camp is $75 per player, and $100 for pitchers who are also participating in the pitcher's camp earlier in the day. You can find links to register for the camp and showcase here. For players who are interested in attending both the August 1 and August 2 camps, there is also an option for to register for both sessions at the same time.
