Charger softball team announces Showcase Camp for June 15

The Hillsdale College softball program is pleased to announce its annual Pitcher's Camp and Showcase is set to return on Tuesday, June 15, offering aspiring softball stars the chance to receive instruction from the staff and players of a championship-level softball program that's reached the NCAA Division II tournament in three of the last four seasons, including this spring.

The pitcher's camp is set to begin at 9 a.m. on June 15 and is intended for athletes entering 9th grade or older. The camp will include pitching instruction provided by Hillsdale College Softball coaching staff and players, as well as access to the showcase camp session and showcase games later in the day.  Space is very limited in this camp with only 9 participant spots in order to ensure every athlete receives detailed instruction. Pitchers are expected to bring their own catcher for the beginning pitching session only.

Following the pitcher's camp at 9 a.m., the Chargers' full showcase camp begins at 10:15 a.m. and is also intended for high school players and those entering the 9th grade in the fall. The camp will include offensive and defensive instruction from Hillsdale College Softball's coaching staff and players, and players will be broken into squads to participate in two showcase games in the afternoon.

Cost for the showcase camp is $60 per player, and $85 for pitchers who are also participating in the pitcher's camp earlier in the day. You can find links to register for the camp and showcase here. Space is limited so be sure to register early to ensure your spot.

For any questions regarding either camp please contact Charger softball head coach Kyle Gross at kgross@hilsdale.edu.
