The Charger softball team suffered its fifth consecutive loss in Rosemont, Illinois this weekend in a 6-4 defeat to Missouri S&T. Late Saturday night, Hillsdale fell to Saginaw Valley State 5-3.
The Miners scored all six of their runs in the final three innings, erasing what had been a 4-1 Hillsdale lead.
Freshman Jenna Cantalupo continues to swing the bat well early in her career. She was 2-for-3 with a run batted in during the game. Junior Sarah Wojcik had a triple, went 2-for-3 and scored a run. Junior catcher Madison Stoner also picked up two hits and drove in a run.
