The 2018 season gets underway next week for the Hillsdale College men's cross country team. With the season imminent, the Great Midwest Athletic COnference released its preseason coach's poll Tuesday afternoon.
Hillsdale was picked to finish tied for third place in the G-MAC with 117 poll points. The Chargers earned the same number of points as Cedarville University. The Chargers and Yellow Jackets found themselves behind the Canton, Ohio schools in the coach's poll, with Walsh finishing first with 143 points, followed by Malone with 133.
The Chargers bring back an experienced squad this year, led by senior Eli Poth and juniors Joseph Humes and Charles Holbrook. Freshmen Adam Wier and James McClure are nwecomers to the program.
