GLIAC Spring Invitational Results
In October, the Hillsdale College men's golf team finished 14th in the 15-team GLIAC Fall Championships. The Chargers showed marked improvement against the same field over the weekend.
The same 15 conference schools took to the links at Longaberger Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio at the GLIAC Spring Invitational. Hillsdale moved up five sports to finish ninth overall with a team score of 621, shooting 310 on day 1 and 311 on day 2.
Freshman Joe Torres carded a 150, shooting 74 and 76 during the two days of the event. Matt Chalberg shot a 78 and 77 for a 155, while Steve Sartore finished the weekend with 75-78--153.
