G-MAC Men's Basketball Statistics

OVERVIEW

  • One of the biggest regular season home games in recent memory will tip off Saturday afternoon as Hillsdale and Findlay square off in a matchup of teams tied for first place in the G-MAC
  • A win would not only give Hillsdale a one-game lead on the Oilers in the standings, but would give it a season sweep, thus winning any tiebreakers that may occur at the end of the regular season
  • The Chargers have never swept both regular season matchups with the Oilers in the 35-year history of their rivalry
  • The Oilers moved up to #9 in this week's Division II Top 25 poll
  • Hillsdale has won 8 games in a row, its longest winning streak since it ripped off 11 straight during the 2011-12 season
  • The Chargers' win over the Oilers back on Jan. 19 was their first over Findlay in the Croy Gymnasium since Jan. 24, 2002
  • Hillsdale sports the G-MAC's stingiest scoring defense, allowing 64.0 points per game
  • Findlay is the highest-scoring team in the conference, averaging 85.7 points per game
  • The 93 points scored by the Chargers in the first meeting between these teams was a season-high allowed by Findlay this year
  • The Chargers have, by a wide margin, the best turnover margin rate in the conference at +4.67 per game...No. 2 in the conference is Tiffin at +3.14, while Findlay is third in that category at +2.95
  • Hillsdale is 4-2 in the past six regular season home meetings vs. the Oilers dating back to the 2011-12 season

SERIES HISTORY
