Back to Back!

Because once just wasn't enough.

Hillsdale College's men's basketball team produced its two most impressive wins of the 2013-14 season last week, and leading the way was senior forward Tim Dezelski, who was recognized as the GLIAC South Division Player of the Week for the second time in a row.

The award was chosen and announced by the conference office late Monday afternoon.

Dezelski also won the honor when it was last given on Dec. 23. It was the fourth time in his career he has brought home the conference's weekly honor.

The Chargers handed Grand Valley State and Ferris State their first conference losses of the season, with both wins coming on the road.

In those two games, Dezelski averaged 24 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals per game, while logging 74 minutes on the court without a turnover. He shot 56 percent from the field, all while coming in two of the toughest venues in the conference.

Dezelski currently ranks eighth in all of NCAA Division II in scoring average at 24.5 points per game. He also ranks in the GLIAC's top 10 in rebounding average and field goal percentage.

He and the Chargers begin a stretch of six home games in their next seven, starting Thursday night against Wayne State.
