Bio

2012-13: Key contributor off the bench, gives the team valuable versatility and skill at the forward position…Played in all 27 games and logged a career-high 399 minutes played…Scored 12 points in a winning effort over Tiffin Feb. 12…Grabbed four or more rebounds 12 times and played at least 10 minutes in 25 of the team’s 27 games.

2011-12: Missed 11 games due to injury in the middle of the season, but is a versatile and athletic forward…Can play three positions, and was a solid defensive fill-in at center at times for the Chargers…Scored six points in the season-opening win over U-M Dearborn Nov. 11.


2010-11: Key contributor off the bench in his first active season with the Chargers...Scored seven points in 10 minutes, making all three of his shots at Findlay Feb. 24...Scored a career-best nine points against Findlay on Jan. 20...Played in 25 of the team’s 26 games...Logged a season-high 16 minutes of playing time Dec. 4 versus Lake Erie College...Pulled down six rebounds twice, against Ohio State-Newark and Lake Erie...Likely to play a much larger role on the team in 2011-12.


2009-2010: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: Averaged more than 12 points and nine rebounds per game throughout his high school career at Jenison High School...Pulled down 11 rebounds per game as a senior in 2008-09...Helped lead Wildcats to district championship in the 2007-08 season, when he averaged 12 points and nine rebounds per game...Finished third in the state in 3-point shooting percentage as a senior, connecting on 48.3 percent of his shots from downtown...Two-year team captain and was named team MVP as a senior...Born March 21, 1991...Parents are Darl and Kim...Older brother Derek played football at Hillsdale College from 2003-07.
