Bio

2012-13: Played in seven games during the season, for 12 total minutes.

2011-12: Backup center who saw his first collegiate action in 2011-12…Played in eight games, 14 minutes total…Scored his first official points in win over Northern Michigan Jan. 26…Played a season-high five minutes in opening game of the campaign vs. U-M Dearborn.


2010-11: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: Played varsity basketball at Midland High School for three years, and gave the Chemics a difference-making big man in the middle...Averaged more than four blocks per game in each of his last two seasons for MHS, and helped the team double its win total from the year before in 2009-10...Was a team captain for two years and broke school records for most blocked shots in a game (11), season (103) and career (223)...Averaged 10 points per game as a senior, and is among the state of Michigan's all-time best shot blockers...Was also was a member of the National Honor Society and was part of the school newspaper's editorial board.
