Bio

2022: Battled with injuries that held him out of three games and limited him in several others but still finished as the team's fifth-leading receiver...after not recording a catch in the team's first six contests while battling injuries, had at least one catch in each of Hillsdale's final five games, including three catches for 30 yards in the Chargers' season finale at Ohio Dominican on Nov. 12...great potential for a big season in 2023 with better health and better luck.

2021: Locked down a starting job at wide receiver and began showcasing his future potential with multiple strong performances...recorded his first career catch against Indianapolis on Sept. 11, finishing the night with four receptions, two for touchdowns, in a narrow 35-31 loss to a ranked team...set career highs in catches (6) and receiving yards (70) at Ashland (Oct. 30)...was the Chargers' top receiver in a 20-3 victory over Walsh (Oct. 9), finishing with three catches for 47 yards...finished third on the team in catches (30) and receiving yards (290)...with a full year under his belt, should continue to grow into his role in the 2022 season this fall.

2020-21: Impressive athlete who could have a breakthrough fall 2021 campaign…Appeared in two games for the Chargers in the abbreviated spring season, playing on special teams…retains his freshman status due to the NCAA ruling on fall sports athletes affected by Covid-19 and has four years of eligibility remaining, starting in 2021.

High School: Three-sport athlete and two-year varsity starter at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (OH)...helped the Royals earn back-to-back OHSAA Division IV playoff berths in 2018 and 2019, and reach the regional semifinals in 2019...earned All-PAC honors in baseball, basketball and football, and all-district honors in basketball and football as a senior...was team's top wideout in 2019, finishing with 373 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 24 receptions, and adding two interceptions, two blocked kicks and a return touchdown...earned the Royal Scholar Award for maintaining a 4.0 or higher GPA throughout high school, and was a member of the National Honor Society...served as a youth mentor for Canton City school camps...parents are Lawrence and Shannon Williams.
