EXTRA POINTS:

  • This is the first of two trips to the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio for the Chargers this year
  • Hillsdale is coming off back-to-back victories, the most recent being a 41-7 homecoming win over Lake Erie. Hillsdale's 2-0 conference record has it tied with Tiffin for first place in the G-MAC
  • These two teams have only met three times despite occupying the same conference from 2012-15 and 2017 to present...The Chargers are 3-0 versus the Pioneers, averaging 37.7 points per game in those three meetings
  • This week's game is Hillsdale's second all-time visit to the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium...The first was on Sept. 21, 2013, a 41-16 win over Malone
  • In five all-time meetings against Walsh and Malone - the two G-MAC schools based in Canton, Ohio - four have been home games for the Chargers
  • Last week, senior WR Trey Brock became Hillsdale's all-time leader in receiving yards, breaking the record held by Andre Holmes since the end of the 2010 season
  • Three different wide receivers - Brock, Austin Sandusky and Konnor Maloney - have 100-yard receiving games this season, the first time that's happened since the 2009 season
  • This game matches up the G-MAC's No. 2 scoring offense (Malone, 35.7 ppg) against the G-MAC's No. 1 scoring defense (16.3 ppg)
  • A player to watch for the Pioneers is Ashton Dulin...He already has two kick returns for touchdown this season and averages 35 yards per kick return
