2013: Named the team’s Defensive Back of the Year…An honorable mention All-GLIAC selection…Led all players in the secondary with 64 total tackles on the season…Had a 22-yard fumble return that led to a touchdown against eventual NCAA semifinalist Grand Valley State Nov. 2…Piled up 10 total tackles in that game, which was a career-high for one week…Topped that total with 12 total tackles the following week against Michigan Tech, including a career-high 8 solo tackles…Intercepted a pass in the Oct. 12 win over Wayne State… Named the team’s Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 11… Named one of the team’s One Play Warriors, which is emblematic of excellence on special teams.

2012: Ranked second in the secondary and sixth on the team overall with 52 total tackles in his first season as a starter in 2012…Set career-highs with six solo tackles and 10 overall against Grand Valley State Oct. 27…Rang up nine total tackles in a win over Malone Sept. 15…Also forced a fumble against the Lakers…Enters 2013 slated to start at safety.

2011: Played in six games, including the last five in a row as he earned his way onto the field as part of the team’s secondary…Steadily improved with each appearance and figures to play a much larger role in the secondary in 2012…Had two total tackles on three occasions and finished with seven tackles on the season.

High School:Dual-threat player for the Red Wings at St. Johns High School…Had 95 tackles, seven tackles-for-loss and one forced fumble in 2010 as a defensive back…Accumulated 1,218 total yards from scrimmage on offense, and accounted for 11 total touchdowns as a senior…Had 73 tackles and three fumble recoveries in 2009…Was voted the team’s offensive MVP following the 2010 season, and earned All-Area and All-Conference honors…Team captain as a senior…Helped lead team to CAC Red titles in 2009 and 2010…Named the Most Outstanding Algebra Student of the Week and earned conference All-Academic accolades…Born April 15, 1993…Parents are Norm and Sharon.
