Chargers get past Huskies 5-2
HILLSDALE, Mich. - Marina Fernandez and Chiara Heinz prevailed at the bottom of the singles lineup but the Huskies fell to Hillsdale College 5-2 at Margot V. Biermann Tennis Center on Sunday. Neva Manas and Ewa Podulka also picked up a win at No. 2 doubles for Tech.
"We just weren't resilient enough today," said head coach Kristin D'Agostini-Yep. "We needed to be adaptable to playing styles and game plans, which we struggled to do. Still, Marina and Chiara played great matches so we ended the day on a positive note."
The Huskies (1-2) continue non-conference play at Maryville on Friday, February 24 at 2 p.m.
