Lindsay Peirce, a 2016 graduate of Hillsdale, joined the athletic department starting in August 2019 in the role of Director of Recreational Sports and Student-Athlete Wellness.

She enjoyed a stellar career on the court for the Chargers from 2012-15. She currently holds the modern-day record for most singles win in a career with 42. She was a two-time honorable mention All-GLIAC selection (2013 and 2014) and was named to the GLIAC Academic Excellence team three times, from 2013-15. She finished with an overall career record of 81-59, combining both singles and doubles competition. She was also a member of the Chi Omega sorority.

After graduating from Hillsdale, Peirce enrolled at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she completed a three-year program that included practical work with therapy and counseling . She worked directly with patients in the Chicago area who needed support with anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship issues.

She earned her master's in counseling psychology in July 2019.

In her new role at Hillsdale, Peirce will work closely with Brock Lutz, the college's Director of Health Services. She will help provide mental health support for student-athletes and work closely with the college's counseling center on issues like referrals and acquiring and utilizing resources for that type of work.

On the recreational sports front, she inherits supervision of the college's intramurals and recreational sport programs from Brad Kocher. She will also work closely with the college's student activities department, helping to oversee and organize events like color runs, skate night, dodge ball and beach volleyball events throughout the school year.
