Zoe Smith Bradley 1899
One of the most successful female student-athletes in the early history of Hillsdale College athletics, she was a singles and doubles tennis champion in the MIAA in 1897 and 1899, and won two additional conference titles during her career. She on back-to-back single titles in 1896 and 1897, winning a total of six MIAA tennis titles in her career. She later earned a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and became of the original faculty member of its School of Education.
