Mary Kaminski ‘82
One of the college’s top female athletes of the 1980s, Mary Kaminski was Academic All-American in volleyball in 1981, and was named All-District 23 that same season. She won the Jack McAvoy Leadership Award in 1981 and was the college’s outstanding female athlete in 1982. Earned varsity letters in volleyball, basketball, softball and track. Went on to a successful coaching career that saw her win more than 300 games and be named the GLIAC Coach of the Year, Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year and NCAA DII National Coach of the Year in 1994.
