The most productive tight end of Hillsdale College’s football teams in the 1960s. Set records for receiving yards in a game and in a season. Set a school record for TD receptions in a season. Named team’s Most Valuable Player and was NAIA First-Team All-American in 1966. Named co-captain as a junior and senior, and was NAIA District 23 All-State in all for years of his career. Also lettered in basketball. A member of “Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.” Also served as a Class Ambassador for the Hillsdale College Class of 1967.
