Katie Cezat, '09

Katie Cezat set more than 30 school, conference and national records during her dominant career with the Hillsdale College women’s basketball program. She was named the 2008-09 NCAA Division II National Player of the Year, averaging 29.2 points, 16.3 rebounds and 3 blocked shots per game. She set the NCAA Division II single-season record with 28 double-doubles that season, and was featured in Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd” section. She set single-season school records for points, rebounds, field goals made and free throws made. Cezat was a two-time GLIAC Player of the Year and in 2009 was named the Michigan Collegiate Female Athlete of the Year by the Detroit Athletic Club.
