Stephanie Heid '03

 

The first Hillsdale College women’s basketball player to earn NCAA Division II First-Team All-American honors, Stephanie Heid finished her career as the Chargers’ all-time leader in assists (634) and steals (464), and is second in career points with 1,963. She ranks in the career top 10 in four other significant categories. Named GLIAC Freshman of the Year in 1999-2000, she led Hillsdale to the GLIAC Tournament title in 2002.  Stephanie earned All-American status for the 2002-2003 season, and helped take the Chargers to their first two appearances in the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament. She led the GLIAC in points (20.7) and steals (4.6) per game as a senior in 2003. She was the winner of the Kimball Medal in 2003.
