Single-Season Record Holders

* - NOTE We have split up our single-season record section into three parts: Side-out era (1981-2000), 30-point rally score era (2001-07) and 25-point rally score era (2008-present). We have done this to create top-10 lists that more accurately compare players who played under similar sets of rules with one another. Total stat numbers were inflated in the 30-point rally score era compared to 25, since 5 more points per set were available to be scored, which in turn increases players' kills, assists, digs, blocks, etc. The side-out era has total stats which tend to be even more inflated, because achieving a side out, an automatic point today, only gave the team the serve, not a point. Career stats will remain intact as one grouping, because we don't want to penalize players who had great careers, who happened to play during two different scoring systems. Records before 1994 are currently unavailable.
