WEEKEND PREVIEW: Conference play opens this weekend at home for Hillsdale as the Chargers host Alderson Broaddus Friday night and Ohio Valley Saturday morning...Note the 10 a.m. start time for Saturday's match with the Fighting Scots, a change from how it originally appeared back in the spring...Hillsdale is ranked 18th in this week's AVCA Division II Top 25 poll, down 4 spots from last week's ranking of 14...These are the Chargers' last home matches until it hosts Ohio Dominican on Friday, Oct. 25, the only match the team will play that weekend...Hillsdale is a combined 4-0 all-time versus this weekend's opponents, winning all four matches by identical 3-0 scores.

  • Allyssa Van Wienen made it 3-for-3 on G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week honors Monday, winning the award for the third time this season

  • Four different players - Allyssa Van Wienen, Dani Jones, Emily Lachmann and Karoline Shelton - have achieved career-highs in kills in a match so far this season
  • Senior libero Taylor Wiese has played in seven matches this season and has exceeded the 30-dig mark twice, equal to the numbers of times earlier in her career she hit that statistical mark
  • Wiese needs one dig to move into 2nd place on Hillsdale's career digs list...She is currently tied with Sydney Dow at 1,802...Megan Howard holds the record with 2,134
  • The Chargers have won 27 straight home matches, a streak that includes postseason play and dates back to September 2017
