WEEKEND PREVIEW: The last two undefeated teams in conference play square off Friday night in Hillsdale as the Chargers host Walsh University...The Cavs have been a top contender in the G-MAC the past two years, winning the East Division title in 2018...This year, Walsh is off to its best start in a long time...The winner of Friday's match will have the inside track to the regular season conference title and the No. 1 seed in the G-MAC tournament, which starts November 19 at campus sites...Walsh's five-match winning streak is the longest current winning streak in the G-MAC...The Cavs also lead the conference in team hitting percentage this season at .242, and they will face the conference's best defensive team in Hillsdale...The Chargers are No. 1 in the G-MAC in opponents' hitting percentage (.121), fewest opponents' kills per set (10.79), blocks per set (2.29) and digs per set (18.38)...Malone has taken a set from Hillsdale in both matchups since the teams migrated to the G-MAC in 2017.

  • The Chargers moved up two spots to #11 in this week's AVCA Division II Top 25 poll...That No. 11 ranking is the highest attained by the program since 2011
  • Junior middle hitter Allyssa Van Wienen was named the G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week for the fifth time this season on Monday afternoon
  • Senior libero Taylor Wiese was named the G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season on Monday afternoon
  • Wiese recorded her 2,000th career dig in last Saturday's win over Kentucky Wesleyan, making her just the second player in school history to hit that mark
  • This Saturday, the Chargers will celebrate Senior Day with a pre-match ceremony recognizing the program's six graduating seniors: Christine Siddall, Emily Lachmann, Dani Jones, Veronica O'Connor, Taylor Wiese and Hannah Gates
  • After this weekend's matches, two more road matches remain in Hillsdale's regular season before the postseason begins on Tuesday, November 19
