Red Alert!

The achievements just keep rolling in for Charger senior Taylor Wiese.

The G-MAC's leader in digs per set had another strong weekend for the conference-leading Hillsdale College volleyball team, and was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for a third time this season. The award was announced and chosen by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Wiese totaled 43 digs in six sets played, both 3-0 wins by #11 Hillsdale College over Trevecca Friday and Kentucky Wesleyan Saturday. In the latter win of the weekend, she set a single-match career-high with 27 digs in a three-set match, an average of 9 digs per set. Her quickness and anticipation were at all-time highs in that match, and she built upon her season average of 5.89 digs per set with that magnificent performance.

During Saturday's win, Wiese also recorded her 2,000th career dig, becoming just the second player in school history to hit that milestone.
