The Hillsdale College women's track team traveled to Bellarmine University with each event group represented this weekend.
Senior Ally Eads began her final campaign with the 3000m steeplechase. She won her race with a time of 11:04.32.
Freshman Amber Mango ran the 1500m run, taking fifth in 4:58.53.
In the 5k, freshman Maryssa Depies led the way for the Chargers. She came in second with 17:14.43. Sophomore Christina Sawyer took fifth in 17:37.55 and junior Arena Lewis came in eighth with 17:50.47. Freshman Clarie McNally came in 12th in 18:42.31, which is a personal best for her in the event.
Freshman Michaela Burkhauser took 11th in the hammer throw with a throw of 40.03 meters, and freshman teammate Nikita Maines came in 16th with 38.44.
Coming off a personal-best performance last weekend, Burkhauser competed threw discus as well. She threw for 41.35 meters to take third overall.
Maines took third in shot put with a mark of 13.55 meters, improving by nearly a full meter from her last meet.
Freshman Emma Shea had a strong day in the javelin throw. She eclipsed her old personal best of 25.34 meters with a new mark of 31.91.
In high jump, freshman Alexie Day tied for second as she cleared 1.60 meters.
Back on the track, freshmen Alanna O'Leary and Melanie Boehm ran the 100m dash. The two took eighth and 11th, respectively. O'Leary finished in 12.83 seconds, and Boehm crossed the finish in 12.90.
Junior Abbie Porter won the 400m dash by nearly two full seconds. She finished in 56.82, which is a new personal best. She also ran the 200m dash in 26.18 seconds to take seventh, only .01 seconds off her best.
In the 400m hurdles, sophomore Calli Townsend came in second with a time of 1:03.62.
Townsend teamed up with Porter, O'Leary, and Boehm for the 4-by-400m relay. The team took first in 3:58.36.
The Chargers will be at the University of Cincinnati for the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational.
