Women's Tennis Picked to Three-Peat as G-MAC Champs

Women's Tennis Picked to Three-Peat as G-MAC Champs

The Hillsdale College women's tennis team has buzzed through all conference competition during its first two seasons of membership in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, going undefeated in regular season and postseason competition.

G-MAC coaches are expecting more of the same in 2020.

The Chargers, the two-time defending conference champs, were picked to win the conference once again as part of the 2020 G-MAC Preseason Coach's Poll, released Wednesday afternoon. The complete poll can be found below.

Despite graduating a strong senior class last year, plenty of experience returns for Hillsdale this year. The kind of championship experience brought by players like seniors Kamryn Matthews and Katie Bell, junior Hannah Cimpeanu and sophomore Sarah Hackman give the team a solid core of players. Freshman Canela Luna has played her way into the lineup and sophomore Sophia Spinazze gives the team depth few others can match.
